The old-established business which was founded in Remscheid in 1879 has been in the family property in the fourth generation now. Today, Orthopädie Service ranks among well-known manufacturers of orthopaedic foot supports world-wide.

Medical care centres all over the world appreciate the competence and expert knowledge of Schein Orthopädie Service. The company employs 300 people in three production locations at Remscheid, Erfurt and Rottenburg. In its headquarters in Remscheid alone more than 240 people are employed.
